About the Role

ThousandEyes is a rapidly growing Business Unit within Cisco. Our focus is on maturing our SaaS platform while integrating with various parts of the business. In this role, you will be at the helm of product and program operations, working closely with cross-functional teams that values collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity. You will ensure that the business progresses in harmony as we take on new initiatives, driving seamless integration and alignment across all functions.

 

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with Program Management: Partner closely with the program management team to mature and optimize operational processes.
  • Operationalize the Product Lifecycle: Harmonize the discovery, definition, development, and adoption cycles for programs, products, and engineering to ensure cohesive execution. Set a clear intake process, establish roles and responsibilities for all Product and Product-adjacent teams, drive the quality and completeness of our product delivery, and provide visibility into status
  • Build Tooling and Automation: Be hands-on in improving our tooling to enforce hygiene, reduce toil by creating automations, and increase visibility and consistency of Product Operations
  • Manage and Publish Roadmaps: Compile and socialize updated roadmap reporting for all ongoing product initiatives, providing clear visibility across various cross-functional teams.
  • Lead Roadmap Review Sessions: Facilitate product roadmap review sessions with cross-functional team leads to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Establish Cost Reporting: Develop and implement cost reporting infrastructure and processes to demonstrate program return on investment.
  • Enhance Atlassian Adoption: Configure and manage Atlassian product workflows to meet business requirements, optimize business processes, and expand adoption.
  • Streamline Onboarding Processes: Create and manage onboarding processes for new program team members.
  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Onboarding: Develop and oversee onboarding programs for new cross-functional team members.
  • Conduct Long-Term Planning Sessions: Lead long-term planning sessions with cross-functional teams to set, track, and achieve quarterly goals and key results.
  • Facilitate Quality Review Sessions: Lead quality review sessions with cross-functional teams to ensure product standards and continuous improvement.

 

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • +5 years of experience in Product Management, Program Management, Operations or a similar roles
  • Experience with administering Product Roadmap tooling such as Atlassian JIRA
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects and programs, with a track record of successful delivery, preferably across both go-to-market focused and technical programs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven ability to lead meetings, workshops, and sessions with cross-functional teams, including roadmap reviews, OKR sessions, and quality reviews.
  • PMP, Agile, Certified Scrum Master, and/or Six Sigma process certifications preferred but not required.
