Production Directors own and manage work streams across key client engagements. Partnering with Client Services lead, you will receive client briefs and respond with meticulous project plans, scopes, and risk assessments. In addition to driving delivery teams toward meeting client business objectives, you will partner with best-in-class creative, strategy, and production talent in New York and our global organization.

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS 

  • Experience (3+ years at EP or greater level) in content production, spanning experiential, live action, and post-production
  • Experience managing staff (both vendors and internal teams) throughout a full engagement lifecycle
  • Demonstrates ability to write accurate, complex scopes (SOWs and Change Orders) and project plans independently. Able to scope and competitively price a new business opportunity within the defined parameters (budget, timing, deliverables) - even if it is work that is not familiar. Approximately $5M – $10M portfolio management alongside Client Services lead
  • Program management experience with brand and campaign projects, inclusive of scope development, staff plans, estimates and detailed timelines, and client presentations
  • Proficiency in project management processes and operations (i.e. establishing ways of working, resource utilization across multiple workstreams, day-to-day task management, risk mitigation strategies)
  • Strong foundation in financial acumen with experience managing scope and burn, cost reconciliation, forecasting and billability targets

  • Skilled leader capable of building trust and morale within cross-functional groups drawn from internal, vendor, partner, and client teams
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with a track record of success juggling multiple projects and complex, layered workstreams without compromising attention to detail and established processes
  • Inspiring presenter, notably in a client-facing capacity, with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to have an objective focused and positive approach and be comfortable working independently. Is self-motivated and self-driven. 
  • Strong customer service ethos, a commitment to quality and the will to constantly drive improvements.
  • High bar for excellence across every dimension of production and program delivery
  • A calm, compassionate mentor to the Integrated Producers on the team, with a delicate balance between ensuring successful project delivery while caring for them appropriately by proactively managing team morale and being a source of support and guidance

Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
