THE ROLE
This Program Manager serves as the essential strategic link between our Supply Chain (Commodity Management) and Finance (Cost Analysis) operations. You will be responsible for translating supply chain strategies and key cost-saving initiatives into concrete, measured, and reported financial outcomes. The success of this role ensures the financial integrity and efficient execution of all major supply chain and manufacturing cost programs, directly supporting margin goals across the business.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Drive Cost Realization Programs: Lead and govern all cross-functional programs for cost-efficiency, new product introduction (NPI) financial modeling, and risk mitigation, ensuring a direct and traceable link between sourcing strategy and final COGS reporting.
- Govern NPI Financial Integrity: Coordinate the NPI financial program life cycle, ensuring the accurate integration of Commodity Management's market data and sourcing strategies into the Cost Analyst's financial models and final product pricing.
- Establish Executive Reporting Cadence: Serve as the single point of contact for synthesizing and communicating the financial performance of supply chain initiatives, preparing clear, actionable, and data-backed reports (e.g., COGS variance, savings realization) for senior leadership.
- Mitigate Financial & Supply Chain Risk: Oversee the strategic alignment between commodity market analysis and financial forecasting, proactively identifying program risks (e.g., market volatility, geopolitical impact) and partnering with teams to develop and execute mitigation plans.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Cross-Functional Program Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-million dollar cross-functional programs that delivered significant, quantifiable cost reductions and/or margin improvements within a high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Strategic Financial & Supply Chain Acumen: Deep understanding of the intersection between strategic sourcing and financial planning, specifically in relation to COGS, gross margins, variance analysis, and inventory cost management.
- Executive Communication & Influence: Proven skill in distilling complex program progress and data into clear, concise narratives and presentations suitable for executive-level decision-making and review.
- Advanced Analytical and Systems Proficiency: Expert-level capability in program management, organizational structuring, and utilizing financial modeling, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau), and ERP systems to manage performance and ensure data integrity.
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
