Project Manager, Construction

Lyft is looking for a highly organized and technically savvy individual to join the Real Estate & Operations team. Candidates must be self-motivated, with excellent communication skills, out-of-the-box thinking, strong attention to detail, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has been in a project management role within the construction industry, with a focus on Mechanical and Electrical and build outs.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and distribute construction budgets and schedules to relevant internal stakeholders
- Prepare and manage project communication, including letters, memos, and emails, with vendors, general contractors, and internal stakeholders on all project related action items
- Sets and leads Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings to ensure all assigned projects are progressing as required
- Manage project specific MEP technical design and construction, both internally and externally with consultant Architects and Engineers
- Manage project meetings, including coordinating schedules, producing meeting minutes, and distributing meeting minutes as needed
- Develop monthly project progress reports (e.g., project cost reports, project schedules, and status reports) and keep contract documents up to date during and post construction
- Maintain all project logs (e.g., requests for information, proposal requests, cost events, project cost reports, schedules) utilizing Procore, Word/Google Docs, Excel/Google Sheets, and Smartsheets
- Process and track vendor and general contractor invoices
- Process technical product and shop drawing submittals electronically in coordination with external and internal stakeholders
- Review and track change orders, create closeout manuals, and manage quantity take-off and cost estimating
- Distribute and track project related technical materials
- Maintain project management tool (Procore) for posting of bids and technical project data
- Manage various sizes of projects ranging from small facility maintenance or improvement projects to large office and lab build outs.
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical field of study (Engineering, Professional Engineer, or Construction Management preferred) or equivalent relevant MEP construction and design management experience
- 5+ years comprehensive project management within MEP focused construction
- Construction project management experience in both office and field/retail locations
- In-depth knowledge of owner project coordination
- Extreme attention to detail

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.
The expected range of pay for this position in the San Francisco area is $117,000 - $130,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
