OVO Energy Solutions Ltd is a company within the OVO family and assists the business in meeting their Energy Company Obligation (ECO), as well as other Energy Efficiency funding initiatives. We achieve this by fitting Energy Efficiency measures such as insulation, renewable energy solutions and new heating systems to domestic properties across the UK.
This role in a nutshell:
The Project Support Team is an integral part of the business, assisting departments throughout a project during the survey, installation and submission stages of an Energy Efficiency measure and this role will be responsible for the coordinators in the function.
Your key outcomes will be:
- The line management of the Project Support Team whilst ensuring their alignment to operational forecast and delivery (team of 5-6)
- Support internal departments in accurate and timely reporting of progress, with both suppliers and clients
- Supporting the delivery of projects through property/customer eligibility and documentation checks as required by the relevant funding schemes and compliance requirements
- Responsibility for integrating project support initiatives within the wider business strategy
- Establishing and creating process and reporting methodology to provide timely and accurate information to stakeholders
- Reporting on process success metrics
- Supporting the setting up of projects
- Ensuring consistent business compliance in line with Ofgem and Government funding initiatives
- Champion process change where changes to existing compliance or new compliance requirements are identified
- Identify and implement improvements to processes
- Weekly reporting to Energy Efficiency on delivery, errors and technical monitoring
- Overseeing the issuing of customer communications to support the best journey for customers.
- Assisting the Assurance department in the quick resolution of enquiries and complaints
You’ll be a successful Project Support Manager at OVO if you have…
- Knowledge and experience of the compliance requirements of the energy efficiency funding schemes (ECO, HUG, SHDF etc)
- Strong decision making skills, along with a proactive approach to challenging the norm
- Knowledge of the operation and requirements of external stakeholders such as Councils, Housing Associations, Contractors and OFGEM.
- Management experience of support services teams
- Great interpersonal skills and the ability to tailor your approach to individuals as well as strong written communication skills
- Experience in leading and assisting on business change initiatives.
- Strong spreadsheet skills and Google Suite experience

We’ll pay you between £36500 and £42500 depending on your specific skills and experience. If your expectations are a little different, have a chat with us!
