What You'll Do:

As we enter this next phase of growth, we are in search of a Director, Public Sector Sales to drive sales strategies and business development, and capture opportunities within the US Public Sector Market, including State, Local, Education (SLED), and Federal. This leadership role will give you the opportunity to oversee a comprehensive programmatic approach to capture efforts, engage with critical mission owners, and build relationships with key stakeholders to position LogicMonitor as a strategic partner.

Here's a closer look at the duties in this key role:

  • Strategic Leadership:
      • Lead the development and execution of sales strategies within the US Public Sector, aligning with overall organizational goals.
      • Provide visionary leadership among a cross-functional team, ensuring a unified and results-driven approach.
  • Opportunity Identification and Qualification:
      • Identify target opportunities within the SLED and Federal segments, assessing their alignment with LogicMonitor’s offerings.
      • Qualify program pipelines to ensure a focused and efficient pursuit of opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
      • Be the primary interface between LogicMonitor and critical mission owners, building and nurturing CXO-level relationships.
      • Act as the face of LogicMonitor, showcasing subject-matter expertise and demonstrating how our solutions meet customer requirements.
  • Sales Team Collaboration:
      • Work closely with Sales Account Teams, providing relevant analysis and market information for informed bid/no-bid decisions.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Legal, Finance, Channel/MSP, and Product teammates.
  • Winning Value Propositions:
      • Lead the pursuit team in developing and substantiating winning value propositions and analyzing critical business drivers and risks.
      • Collaborate with Sales Engineering and Technical Architects to validate and endorse technical solutions.
  • Program Capture and Deal Closure:
      • Develop timelines to meet key deal milestones and deadlines.
      • Lead post-award handoff processes to transition contracts to the post-sales team.
  • Leadership and Enablement:
    • Foster a culture of excellence within the Sales team, driving initiatives and structuring approaches to new opportunities.
    • Develop and pioneer sales Go-To-Market (GTM) approaches, transforming them into repeatable processes for the sales and partner community.

What You'll Need:

  • 8+ years experience in strategic sales leadership within the Public Sector, including SLED and Federal markets.
  • Strong ability to articulate compelling, business outcome-focused value propositions.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and capturing large government programs.
  • Experience working with Channel and Partner teams.
  • Excellent negotiation and teaming arrangement skills.
  • Cross-functional influence, relationship building, and project management capabilities.

LogicMonitor believes in pay transparency, so we provide the base salary ranges for all of our jobs in the United States. Actual base salary offered will vary depending on factors including but not limited to: location, education, experience, skills, and qualifications. As part of our holistic compensation philosophy, LogicMonitor also offers many competitive elements in our total compensation package for US employees, such as bonus or commission compensation in addition to the base pay, an equity program for all full time employees, 401K matching, and other rewards. 

Base Salary Range$140,000—$160,000 USD
