As the Quality Assurance Coordinator at Youfoodz, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role is based onsite at our Karawatha facility in Brisbane and reports to the Quality Assurance Manager. You’ll collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across the business, engaging energetically at all levels to write, audit, and deliver technical content that drives successful outcomes and continuous improvement in our operations.

• Oversee quality staff across snacks, juice, and meals on shift
• Manage environmental and food microbiological testing programs
• Maintain and improve quality frameworks to support HACCP and food safety compliance
• Administer the positive release of finished goods and manage document control
• Lead NCR processes, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventative actions
• Provide coaching and training in collaboration with the Production Trainer
• Monitor CCP compliance and investigate deviations
• Support internal and external audits, including BRC and customer requirements

• A degree in Food Science or Food Technology
• At least 3 years of experience in Food Technical/QA Management
• Practical knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, FSMS, and food safety audits
• Experience with regulatory standards (e.g., FSANZ, FDA) and certifications (e.g., BRC, SQF)
• Proven leadership experience and team management skills
• Strong understanding of microbiological testing and allergen control
