The Site Quality Manager plays a crucial role at HelloFresh (HF) Group by ensuring that products meet certain thresholds of acceptability without negatively impacting the throughput of the distribution centre. They thrive for sustainable continuous improvement and total end-customer satisfaction.

The Site Quality Manager will be both a hands-on leader and able to step back, when required, to have the proper overview of a situation. 

You will…

• Plan, review and direct the improvement and execution of the Quality Management Processes in partnership with the Distribution Center (DC) Leadership, other HF DC teams and the Quality Cohort, 
• Organise and lead local audits/inspections to ensure observance of GMP, in line with the HelloFresh group, regulatory and customer requirements,
• Effective implementation of the resulting corrective/preventative actions to mitigate recurrence and ensure the sustainability thereof,
• Be the point of escalation for all arising quality issues, able to make informed, and on the spot decision, or to  escalate it to the right stakeholders for a seamless resolution, 
• Ensure the accuracy and maintenance of the site quality documentation (e.g. PRPs, SOPs and specific monitoring records) via the Documentation Management System in place,
• Lead, encourage and support everyday functions and duties of the Site QC Lead, while continuing to stimulate a high performing team,
• Develop and ensure that relevant training programs are planned and delivered to comply with food safety and quality regulatory requirements at the DC level
• Support other team members in both BAU and project work, as required.
• Mentor and train newly recruited team members and/or existing team members in your area of knowledge and expertise, as required.

You have…

• Degree in related discipline (essential)HACCP qualification (desirable), Auditor qualification (desirable),  Allergen training (desirable)
• Substantial knowledge of certifications in both quality management systems standards (such as ISO 9001) and food safety standards (such as HACCP, BRC, ISO 22000) as well as all applicable Australian Food Regulations
• Substantial understanding of lean manufacturing, Quality Control management and ideally be a certified auditor
• Substantial understanding in Food Safety, Food Quality and Regulatory relations
• Good understanding of food processing systems and equipment.

Duration: Permanent full time role. You must have the right to work full-time in Australia/New Zealand.
