Quality Assurance Specialist (temporary)
This QA role is responsible for ensuring that quality assurance standards and client satisfaction are delivered throughout the product lifecycle. You will execute structured QA activities — including Functional, Smoke, Regression, and Exploratory testing — to validate that features work as expected, builds are stable, existing functionality remains intact, and unexpected issues are uncovered. Your work will help maintain high quality with speed and agility across releases.
This role involves bug tracking and management, working closely with the QA Lead, developers, designers, project managers, and other QA team members to clarify requirements, raise defects, and escalate risks as needed. Career development guidance is typically provided by the QA Lead and may be adapted based on account or location.
This is a temporary contract (3 months until march 31, 2026).
You Will:
- Be co-responsible for the quality of projects based on the requirements and design specifications.
- Have the ability to ask the right questions and identify if any information is missing or unclear
- Identify and raise risks
- Be able to analyze and understand details and requirements of projects and tickets
- Have to provide direct, clear and concise feedback
- Monitor the quality of projects based on the requirements and design specifications
- Attend meetings, provide status updates, learn, and provide feedback
- Communicate test results, issues, and risks found to project team members, project managers, and QA management through the various channels
- Identify test data, create and maintain comprehensive test plans, write and maintain test cases/scripts
- Apply industry standard testing methodology, strategies and industry best practices
- Create traceability matrix documents and checklist documentation based upon project requirements
- Perform functional and non-functional testing
- Effectively communicate statuses
- Create defect tickets and track issues to resolution
- Create reports and related metrics at different levels
You Have:
- Experience performing Functional Testing to ensure features work as expected.
- Ability to conduct Smoke Testing to verify the stability of builds.
- Skills in executing Regression Testing to confirm existing functionality remains unaffected.
- Experience carrying out Exploratory Testing to uncover unexpected issues.
- Strong capability to track, report, and manage bugs throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ability to collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and defects.
- A proactive mindset to take ownership of the QA process and deliverables for your project.
- Capability to identify and escalate risks, issues, and potential blockers.
- Experience working with content managed through CMS (Adobe AEM).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience working with local and offshore teams
- Experience in task management and defect tracking tools like Jira and/or similar
- Ideally English Proficiency (B2 reading, writing, and conversation).
