The Regional Marketing Manager, BeNeLux is critical to the success of Databricks Demand Generation across the BeNeLux region. You will be an expert at designing and implementing creative field marketing strategies to help drive qualified leads, conversions to opportunities and pipeline. You will own the marketing plan for the region, build and execute a scalable mix of field programs in the Netherlands and Belgium to drive consumption, meet business targets, and grow awareness. This is a cross-functional role, collaborating across marketing, SDR, Sales, Partner Management and other field teams to ensure successful delivery of all integrated campaigns and marketing initiatives. You will be reporting initially to the Director, EMEA Field Marketing.

Mission: 

  • Own the regional marketing planning & strategy for the Netherlands and Belgium in tight collaboration with local leadership and the extended marketing team
  • Elevate the voice of the region and customers throughout the marketing organization while operating as the marketing business partner in the region
  • Plan and execute scalable and efficient field marketing programs and events
  • Build data-driven field marketing event and program calendars to increase awareness, drive engagement, generate leads, and support conversion rates
  • Maximize pipeline generation and conversion by managing the flow of leads from field events into marketing automation systems and to sales team stakeholders
  • Effectively manage budgets and evaluate ROI of all campaigns 
  • Evaluate and execute the most effective partner and third party event co-marketing opportunities

Outcomes: 

  • Improve lead-to-opportunity conversion by working closely with the SDR and sales teams
  • Generate qualified leads cost-effectively across existing and new channels to successfully engage target accounts, generate pipeline, drive consumption and revenue
  • Generate insights from data to continuously improve campaign strategies
  • Forge strong communications with sales, and support the SDR and sales teams on campaigns to improve conversion metrics across the funnel
  • Work closely with the marketing and regional teams to deliver the most regionally relevant and effective marketing campaigns

What we look for: 

  • Experience managing field marketing events (independent & third-party sponsorships, physical and virtual) including managing event agencies
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering tangible business results with marketing programs
  • Ability to orchestrate cross-functional teams in an enterprise software company
  • Consistency in delivering and reporting against KPIs within budget and tight deadlines
  • Capability to build & optimize metrics driven marketing plans and report back on ROI
  • Demonstrated ability to execute multiple programs and priorities simultaneously
  • Fluent in English, native/fluency in Dutch and/or French is a plus
