The Opportunity

We now have the opportunity for a high-calibre, successful and driven individual to join us a a Regional VP of Sales based in the UK.  In this role, you will provide leadership and implementation of our initial and ongoing sales strategy in the EMEA region for a mixed team of Enterprise and Global account executives (Regional Sales Directors and Global Account Directors).

Reporting to the General Manager, EMEA, you will be responsible for the sales relationships and performance of your team, and responsible for identifying, developing and growing revenue from product and services in your segment. The successful candidate will have a track record of SaaS sales and sales leadership experience across the EMEA region.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of Enterprise and Global account executives (Regional Sales Directors and Global Account Directors)
  • Manage and coordinate the efforts of the team to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly bookings targets
  • Assist in creating strategies & go-to-market plans for the region
  • Identifying business opportunities in existing and new customers
  • Monitor, analyze, and manage sales activity against goals
  • Develop a consistent and growing revenue stream for products and services
  • Work with global team members to develop business in the region in all channels
  • Work with channel partners to establish and grow sales and promote positive relations with VAR's, Distributors, System Integrators, & Platform companies
  • Establish and implement development goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures for the team, as needed

 

What we're looking for:

  • Extensive SaaS sales experience and several years in sales management (at 1st or 2nd line management)
  • Experience of selling to large, complex Fortune 500 enterprises
  • Proficient in MEDDPICC/Command of the Message methodology
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the processes for managing large accounts, including demand generation, forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management
  • Strong technical and business knowledge with complimentary skills to understand the customer's business and technical drivers
  • Solution selling, business case development skills, and a proven ability to navigate complex large Enterprise customer environments and their subsidiaries
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proven interpersonal / relationships skills to build and maintain Exec/’C’ level relationships
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as customer meetings require
  • Existing relationships with decision makers within Customer Experience is desired
  • Experience leading Software-as-a-Service sales resources is required
