The Challenge
  • As a Renewal Manager, Mid Market - your challenge is managing a portfolio of mid-sized customers (part of our Pool CS strategy) and client renewals.
  • You'll be instrumental in partnering with CS in identifying and mitigating roadblocks, ensuring successful, on-time execution of processes and contract renewals.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Sales team colleagues to provide seamless support during renewals, especially in cycles that present expansion or add-on opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders and partners/channel sales, ensure contract terms compliance, and work closely with finance and legal departments.
  • Proactively collect and analyze customer feedback, contributing to the growth and automation of the auto-renewal and standard renewal processes.  
Your Mission
  • Strategic Harmony: Lead mid-market renewal cycles with strategic timing, ensuring a responsive approach aligned with client needs. 
  • Unified Strategy: Collaborate seamlessly with Customer Success, Sales, and Partners, synchronizing strategies for a harmonious renewal process. 
  • Stakeholder Synchrony: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, adapting to evolving needs within the mid-market space. 
  • Precision Compliance: Navigate software contract complexities with precision, addressing compliance issues for a seamless renewal rhythm while collaborating internally with stakeholders such as our legal team, Sales Ops, and others. 
  • Opportunistic Platform Use: Identify and act upon opportunities for increased software platform utilization, ensuring clients find value in every interaction. 
  • Transactional Increase: Manage transactional increases, identifying opportunities for software optimization within mid-market volumes. 
  • Growth Opportunities: Collaborate with Account Executives to identify and create growth opportunities within the mid-market portfolio. 
  • Churn Forecasting: Responsible for forecasting churn at the cohort level. 
  • Integrated Customer Success Journey: Acknowledge that the renewal process is the culmination of the customer success journey, typically initiated 120 days prior to expiration. 
  • Accurate Forecasting: Manage your portfolio through accurate weekly forecasting. 
You Are
  • A seasoned conductor with 3-5 years of customer-facing experience in software renewals.  
  • Able to synchronize strategies just in time, along with eloquent communication and familiarity with Salesforce, to drive success in the dynamic mid-market renewal landscape.  
  • A go-getter who enjoys solving complex problems and collaborating across multiple teams to find the missing pieces of the customer’s puzzle and you don’t settle for anything less than success.  
  • Eager to grow personally and professionally and you see obstacles as challenges. 
Your Experience
  • 3-5 years of customer facing sales and/or Customer success and/or renewals management experience is preferred    
  • Preferred BS degree (preferred in Marketing, Business or Communications)    
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills    
  • Excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills    
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM solutions is preferred; particularly creating quotes in CPQ and leveraging forecast methodologies.   
  • Experience working with customers   
  • Comfortable in a fast paced & high-volume environment  

For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington-based candidates: the annual base pay range for this role is listed below. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits.

Salary Range$39,375—$58,800 USDBenefits
