Retail Recruiting Specialist

This position is a hybrid in-office role that works out of our Boston, MA office (some days will be working in office and others working from home- this is not a virtual / remote position).

Who We Are

As Wayfair continues to grow its physical retail presence across the country, we are seeking a Retail Recruiting Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition organization. This role will act as a talent ambassador with candidates and a consultative thought partner with hiring managers and talent partners, while working to provide industry insight and sourcing recommendations. What You’ll Do

  • Create and post jobs in our ATS and maintain accuracy with ATS/recruiting tools and effectively leverage these tools to deliver results
  • Complete sourcing activities via various sourcing platforms, social media posts and other top of funnel levers to drive applicant flow for job openings
  • Participate in local community and career events, set-up recruiting tables, facilitate hiring events/interview days as needed
  • Build and engage prospective pools of candidates for current and future opportunities
  • Analyze recruiting data and recommend/implement process improvements  
  • Responsible for facilitating the offer process, running and monitoring pre-employment screenings, and communicating start date information 
  • Partner closely with our Talent Management organization on hiring strategy and talent initiatives 

What You’ll Need

  • 1+ years of recruitment/sourcing or retail experience 
  • Strong relationship management skills with an ability to build trust and credibility with both candidates and hiring managers while managing stakeholder expectations appropriately
  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask, prioritize and work well in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
  • Familiarity and comfort with a data driven environment. Ability to use metrics to guide decision-making 
  • Partnership skills, action-oriented mind-set, and an ability to be responsive, tactful, and diplomatic
