Okta is looking for an innovative and experienced Program Manager to join their growing Sales Development team. The successful candidate will be expected to develop programs and generate demand generation content that will align and fuel the needs of a growing Sales Development team.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate strong collaboration skills, and will possess strong marketing, operational, data reporting and project management skills. The ideal candidate is adept in communicating to a variety of audiences and has the ability to understand complex business needs and solve them with programs. They will be adept in overseeing multiple concurrent programs, monitoring progress on the fly, and analyzing results post program execution. Experienced in working collaboratively with cross-functional departments and senior stakeholders, the successful candidate will be skilled in evaluating project milestones and progress in a way that’s conducive to achieving results in a timely manner. You must thrive in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment.
As a Sales Development Program Manager you will:
- Work directly with Sales Development leaderships to implement, operate, and deliver against program goals
- Monitor and track program progress, adjusting and changing content and messages to ensure success
- Operationalize programs in desired geography including program recruitment, adoption, reporting, feature roadmap, and problem resolution
- Develop data-driven narrative proposals for new initiatives, evolving programs, and mechanisms to solve customer and partner needs.
- Prepare and present progress reports highlighting risks and recommendations to Marketing and Sales stakeholders
- Dashboarding and reporting to measure ROI and performance of sequences, plays, online chat playbooks
- Serve as a subject matter expert in lead-to-sales processes, understanding the linkages between sales and operations strategy, systems and tools, and the KPIs and results required to accelerate revenue
- Drive territory analytics, design, and management efforts in coordination with leadership to ensure territory and quota capacity, coverage, and assignments are balanced
- Define and construct KPIs and required reporting/dashboards needed to monitor overall territory health, data integrity, and other key objectives and performance indicators
- Derive weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reporting to track team pace and productivity; measure and report effectiveness of the program
- Suggest activities for inbound and outbound improvement (ie. organizes cross-functional spiffs between Sales and xDR to cover for gaps and drive alignment)
- Understand key business drivers and strategic initiatives to ensure enhancements to CRM and sales productivity tools result in desired outcomes on the business
- Build and execute a communications strategy to stakeholders including ownership of business cadence
- Create newsletters to showcase pipeline efforts and achievements to keep organization informed and recognized of its accomplishments
- Work closely with the Sales Development leadership team, Operations team, Enablement team, People Business Partner and Recruitment as key stakeholders
You would be a great fit for this role if you have:
- Program management experience and best practices; a solid understanding of technical training, and the ability to synthesize information and make it usable among an organization
- The ability to apply critical thinking and take initiative to understand complex business needs and solve them with programs
- Experience in developing strategies that help drive leadership decisions through effective communication of data interpretation and making business recommendations
- Experience in managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and creating alignment in organizational objective
- A highly organized and disciplined work ethic to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with sales development and/or business development teams preferred

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$123,000—$185,000 USD The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $138,000—$206,000 USDWhat you can look forward to as an Okta employee!
