Sales Development Representative

As part of our Sales team, you will help create high-quality sales opportunities by identifying the right accounts, engaging relevant stakeholders, and handing over well-qualified prospects to Account Executives.
- Generate qualified pipeline through targeted outbound outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and events.
- Research accounts and contacts to understand business context, compliance priorities, and potential fit.
- Qualify prospects using clear discovery around needs, urgency, fit, stakeholders, and next steps.
- Maintain accurate activity, account, and handoff notes in Salesforce and Gong.
- Partner with Account Executives on account prioritization, outreach strategy, and meeting preparation.
- Use EQS’s AI-supported sales stack to improve account research, personalize outreach, streamline workflows, and increase the quality and efficiency of your daily work.
Must have
- 1–3 years of experience as an SDR, BDR, or in a similar sales development role, in B2B SaaS.
- Good understanding of outbound prospecting, qualification, and KPI-driven sales environments.
- Confident communication skills across phone, email, and LinkedIn, with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences.
- Experience using CRM or sales engagement tools; Salesforce and Gong experience is especially relevant.
- Strong ownership, structure, and follow-through when managing accounts, outreach, and handoffs.
- Curiosity and openness to using AI tools in daily sales work, with a willingness to experiment, learn, and continuously improve how you research, personalize, and prioritize outreach.
Nice to have
- Experience selling or prospecting into compliance, legal, HR, risk, or other business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with account-based selling, event follow-up, intent signals, or AI-supported sales workflows.
- Interest in growing toward an Account Executive or broader commercial role over time.
