As a Sales Development Representative, you are responsible for uncovering, sourcing, educating, nurturing, and developing sales leads into qualified opportunities from key accounts that will close and add to Fastly’s growing customer base. You are focused on identifying opportunities and building relationships with prospects and leveraging your experience to make an impact.The ideal candidate loves the thrill of the hunt, is motivated by a career in tech sales, a self-starter, driven, curious, and eager to learn. This position will be based in our Denver office!
What You'll Do:
- Research and prospect into Target Accounts
- Call, email & leverage LinkedIn for strategic outreach
- Utilize lead generation tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LeadIQ
- Act as a collaborative strategic partner to Account Executives
- Exceed specific daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly pipeline metrics to help achieve sales goals

- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
We’ll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these:
- Background in MEDDPPICC and Command of the Message
- Power user status of common CRM, sales engagement and intelligence tool
Work Hours:
- This position will require you to be available during core business hours, 9:00am - 5:00pm MT.
- This position is required to be in Denver, in office, three days per week - Tuesday through Thursday.

Salary:
The estimated range for On-Target Earnings for this role is $85,000. On-Target Earnings consists of a combination of annual base pay and sales compensation variable target. The standard pay split for this role is 70% / 30% (i.e. base pay vs. variable target %).
Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
This role is eligible to participate in Fastly’s global sales compensation plan and may participate in Fastly’s equity program.
