Elastic is broadening its reach and launching a dynamic new hub in the modern and vibrant city of Barcelona. We are seeking enthusiastic and driven individuals to join our EMEA Sales Development team as we continue to surge forward in revolutionizing data search and visualization solutions. Companies such as Netflix, Facebook, Booking, and Tinder rely on Elastic to tackle their significant data quandaries, and we need Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) like you to propel our mission.
As a Sales Development Representative at Elastic, you are more than just a cog in the sales machine. You are the frontline of communication, fostering genuine connections and placing quality interactions above simply dialling numbers. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of our sales initiatives by actively engaging with prospects and understanding their unique challenges to offer tailored Elastic solutions.
This position is not only ideal for those taking a secondary step in their sales career but also serves as a perfect launchpad into the commercial world for proactive individuals who might already possess relevant experiences through academic or student-led ventures.
We have designed a cooperative workspace in Barcelona to nurture collaboration and team spirit, leveraged by our SDR and Sales Hub teams for approximately 3 days weekly. The collaborative environment we create is perfect for those looking to grow professionally within a supportive community.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Partner with the sales, marketing, and partner teams to innovate strategies that increase our sales pipeline and business expansion
- Strike a balance between promptly addressing user inquiries and proactively seeking new business engagements;
- Utilize tools like Salesforce, Marketo, and LinkedIn to research prospective accounts, pinpoint key decision-makers, and craft compelling messages;
- Immerse yourself in learning the vast capabilities of Elastic technology to adeptly converse with a technical audience, guiding them on how Elastic solutions meet their objectives.
What You Bring Along:
While there is no one-size-fits-all mold for our ideal candidate, successful team members often share these traits:
- 1-2 years of sales experience, including roles held during university studies;
- A receptive attitude towards feedback, coupled with a voracious appetite for knowledge and self-improvement;
- A tech enthusiast at heart, eager to grasp and elucidate complex technical concepts — rest assured, we have ample resources to help you succeed!
- Excel at initiating phone conversations with potential new clients— this is your gateway to success!
- Persistent in meeting and surpassing monthly targets through discipline, creativity, and a relentless attitude;
- Inspired to contribute to a vision and community that extends beyond individual ambitions.
- We are looking for fluent English, plus the following languages: German, Dutch
