The Sales Team:

At JWP, our Strategic Broadcast Sales Team is essential to our company's growth and success in the broadcasting sector. This dedicated team is committed to helping broadcasters expand their streaming businesses with scalable and robust solutions for Live, VOD, and OTT. We enable our clients to maximize revenue through our comprehensive advertising solutions, subscription models, and payment products.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Director to join our dynamic team, focusing on the Broadcast and OTT sector across Europe. You'll be at the forefront of expanding our digital broadcaster business, engaging with TV networks, streaming services, and sports broadcasters.

As a Sales Director, you will:

  • Identify and target potential customers within the Broadcast OTT market. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Lead a consultative sales process from initial client engagement to closed sales to establish strategic relationships with new customers and achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their needs and challenges to position JWP's solutions effectively.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand JWP's market presence in Europe.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of JWP's products and services and demonstrate the value of our solutions through compelling presentations, demos, and proposals.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales Operations, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, to ensure a seamless customer journey and high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Track and report on sales activities, progress, and market conditions. Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance analysis to senior management.

Requirements for the role:

  • Minimum 4 years of sales experience in the OTT or streaming sector, with a focus on the broadcast industry in Europe.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the broadcast OTT landscape, including current trends, technologies, and key industry players.
  • Proven experience with outbound-focused sales strategies and effective prospecting techniques.
  • A well-established network of contacts within the broadcasting and media sector.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets, along with strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Dedicated to gaining a deep understanding of business challenges and identifying effective solutions.
  • Possesses an entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive approach to work.
