Joining Collibra’s EMEA DQ Sales Engineering team

We're looking for a talented Data Quality subject matter expert, who will be responsible for driving Collibra’s Data Quality solutions business across EMEA. The role will provide support to our core Sales Engineering teams, as well as taking a lead active role in large and complex opportunities. The role will involve working directly with prospects, customers, partners and technology partners. 

This is a highly collaborative role as you will be working with peers and cross functional teams as the Collibra Data Quality expert. You will work across Collibra marketing, customer success, product management and sales teams to manage, develop and grow Collibra’s Data Quality initiatives.

 Data Quality Engineers at Collibra are responsible for
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for the field sales engineering team as a subject matter expert for all things Collibra Data Quality after basic qualification and discovery.
  • Leading deep technical dives with prospects and existing customers regarding Collibra Data Quality while understanding the prospects and customers requirements.
  • Collaborating with Sales Engineers to scope complex custom demos, proof-of-value projects, and ensure their success by tying defined use cases and success criteria back to prospect and customer related value.
  • Validating and confirming qualified opportunities for Collibra Data Quality and assisting the team through to customer value.
  • Supporting sales activities, marketing activities, webcasts, and contract negotiations.
  • Work with our product and engineering teams to constantly improve our offerings based on direct client feedback.
You have
  • 3+ years of data quality experience with a proven track record in Sales Engineering, or consulting role
  • English Mandatory at high proficiency
  • Hands-on experience with programmatic rule development, rule automation, AI, and ML
  • Demonstrated track record of influencing across all levels of an organization, internally and externally, technical and non-technical, to successfully connect data outcomes to achieving business goals
  • A technical proficiency of SQL, java, spark, rest APIs, active directory, and data pipelining
  • The ability to code a small jupyter, or zeppelin notebook + stage examples and demos
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one DQ toolset outside of Collibra DQ (e.g. Attacama, Talend, Informatica, Ab Initio etc).
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required
  • You must have work authorization to work in London
You are
  • Experienced in building collaborative relationships, successfully closing sales with partners, enabling partners for success, and supporting partner marketing activities
  • Supportive and collaborative across all parts of an organization and are able to adapt and engage across multiple topics, teams, customers, and partners
  • Interested in data and being part of a team that is focused on importance of data for our customers
  • Familiar with demonstrating the value of on Premise or SaaS solutions in data governance, data management, analytics or business intelligence preferred
  • Business driven with a desire to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets by qualifying opportunities, and delivering excellence to our customers, prospects and partners.
  • A self-motivated individual that will drive initiatives to improve the way in which we deliver DQ solutions, and maximize the knowledge and capability of the Collibra community.
Measures of success are
  • Within your first month, you will become familiar with Collibra and the institutional knowledge of process. 
  • Within your third month, you will become a voice for Collibra having proven proficiency in the DQ solution to start educating the customer on features, roadmap, and process of customer-cycle. 
  • Within your sixth month, you will become a voice within Collibra for data quality, helping fellow solution reps serve the customer in all pre-sales activities, demonstrations, proof-of-values, etc.
