THE ROLE

The Sales Lead will be responsible for taking our latest platform to market and capitalise on the huge opportunity of embedding generative Ai into large organisations across the world.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Setting up and managing high performance sales processes from discovery to pitch to close
  • Ownership of sales pipeline, ensuring personal quota attainment on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Work strategically with management to deliver clear and accurate forecasts, identify trending opportunities & challenges, and provide recommended solutions.
  • Keep informed of product line, competition and industry trends that may impact client business activities
  • Support in the onboarding process working closely with the customer success team.
  • Feedback in a clear and data-driven way client feedback and feature improvements.
  • Maintain all internal process and systems to a high standard (eg Hubspot and ‘key performance indicator’ systems)
  • Supporting in the hiring and growth of the team
  • Delivering training and coaching to the India and UK team
  • Work in a highly entrepreneurial environment, focusing on execution and ensuring plans come to fruition;
  • Consistently build strong relationships with stakeholders centrally and in the portfolio companies
  • Potential to lead and manage a team as the business grows

 

ABOUT YOUThe ideal candidate will have a track-record in delivering results in a fast-moving business and hence be comfortable with change and uncertainty. Excellent stakeholder management experience is essential to being successful in this role.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A hunter who enjoys the challenge of working in a start-up/scale-up environment
  • Experience as a Sales Manager/Leader, with a small or scaling SAAS software vendor
  • Experience in working with enterprise sales processes
  • Proven success in delivering sales targets and business growth
  • Have a keen interest in technology/Generative Ai and how it can transform how business and the world can operate
  • An intelligent, articulate and analytical team player who’s able to throw themselves in the deep end and gets excited about building a team and company
