Sales Manager - DACH (German Speaking)
As Sales Manager for the New Business team in one of our key focus markets, you will play a pivotal role in successfully leading a team of sales executives to grow the market. You will be responsible for the business targets and people development as well as continuous process improvement, daily coordination within the team and liaising with all relevant stakeholders.
With clear targets, a collaborative environment, and an opportunity for uncapped commission this role is ideal for a proactive Sales Manager who wants to manage/grow a high-performing team, passionate about building a currency of trust online.
What you'll be doing:
- Formal leadership (peakon, career conversations, performance management etc.) of a team of New Business executives, responsible for sales and growth for the Core segment within our Focus European markets
- Hire & interview new team members.
- Execute the market sales strategy and support Senior leadership
- Communicate with stakeholders and manage escalations with other departments.
- Actively guide on industry best practice to define and achieve goals in line with the overall regional and company strategy
- Lead in cross-functional efforts between Presales, Partnerships, Product, Ops, and Marketing to drive healthy growth within the Core group of customers
- Support Senior Leadership developing mid-long term strategy within Core customers that increase retention rate to increase productivity in our New Business efforts
- Identify customer needs, pain points and develop innovative solutions to enhance the customer journey.
- In addition, this role has people management responsibilities including hiring, interviewing, driving employee growth and development, and managing performance
Who you are:
- Fluent in German. Along with English working proficiency.
- Background in Sales Management along with, Business Development or Account Management (Ideally within SaaS)
- Proven ability to lead the sales process and negotiate business deals
- Ability to present confidently and to solve problems quickly
- Knowledge of E-Commerce, market research, data analytics is a plus
- You are ambitious, self-driven and results orientated
