The salary range for this position is $45,900 -$56,000 + target bonuses of $19,200 per year. The base salary offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. 

Sales Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of 10-15 sales associates with diverse skill sets, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment while promoting engagement and high morale.
  • Monitor associate calls and potentially emails to provide guidance and support to customers with pre-order sales inquiries, B2B & B2C projects, and act as the Wayfair point of contact between suppliers and partner teams.
  • Deliver comprehensive coaching and mentorship to empower associates to achieve revenue goals, surpass customer expectations, cultivate long-term value, and capitalize on sales opportunities to expand share of wallet.
  • Conduct side-by-side observations and call calibrations to inform weekly 1x1 coaching sessions.
  • Provide recommendations and/or implement corrective actions to address employee performance concerns and collaborate closely with Senior Leadership & Talent Management to manage disciplinary processes and terminations.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to analyze trends and address performance gaps.
  • Directly communicate with customers as needed, including handling customer escalations.
  • Facilitate quarterly (at a minimum) career development discussions with each associate to support their professional growth.
  • Achieve and surpass all team targets and KPIs, encompassing revenue, sales activity, QA scores, and compliance.
  • Champion the vision/mission of Premier Sales in all employee and customer interactions.
  • Collaborate effectively with leaders and departments across the organization to drive sales enhancements that positively impact multiple business areas.
  • Demonstrate exceptional time management skills while consistently prioritizing the employee and customer experience.
  • Engage employees at all levels and actively listen with empathy and understanding.
  • Adapt and effectively implement changes for direct reports.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, relationship building, and interpersonal skills
  • 1+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in a solutions-focused environment (B2B, Direct Sales, Retail) and/or a master’s degree in a relevant field
  • 1+ years of experience working in a quota-driven environment and meeting or exceeding targets
  • Experience leading a team of 10+ people
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
