We are looking for a self-starter who has a successful track record in sales operations or business analysis to support a team of highly technical Account Managers who are responsible for the retention, upsell and cross sell of our customers across the globe. This is a great opportunity to use your prior experience in an analytical role, to work as an individual contributor and really run and grow the impact that Sales Operations can have on the Account Management team.  What You’ll Do
  • Support an ever growing Account Management team across Global Regions , and be the go to person for our AM team
  • Help define sales territories and business plans for regions
  • Analyse Revenue Trends and Critical Metrics as well as work on special projects to enhance productivity 
  • Drive operational improvements in the areas of reporting, process, workflow, communication, and strategy
  • Partner with Account Management leadership to discover opportunities for sales process and methodology improvements while helping them run their business
  • Work closely with other operations team members and the business to further develop metrics, performance indicators, analytics and dashboards to provide performance measurement and drive business performance through deep business insight
  • Work closely on the development of account management’s sales and operations strategy, requires an in-depth understanding of the market and critical evaluation of priorities and execution of operational plans
  • Assist with operational leadership in account management including training and rollout of critical business processes to the sales team
  • Optimise sales and operational efficiency through innovative thinking, process improvement and system enhancements and industry standards sharing
  • Work with peers in all departments to identify the impact of application changes on systems and processes and how it will impact current reporting

What We’re Looking For

  • Ideally 4+ years of analytical and problem solving experience in a sales operations role, consulting role or a business analyst role
  • Experience working on your own in a region or team, or working in a smaller startup type environment 
  • Problem solver, someone who can work things out without the need of escalation 
  • Autonomous, can do attitude, who is good at prioritising and working with teams across different cultures and time zones 
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, data manipulation, dashboard creation, and business intelligence skills with an expertise in Salesforce
  • Interpersonal skills across a multi-level organisation - with a validated focus on being able to translate data and metrics into predictable business insight
  • Detail oriented and highly organised with the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience with SalesForce and with Google Sheets is a must, Domo or Looker experience would be a plus

Salary:

The estimated salary range for this position is $114,200 to $142,750. 

Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.
