Sales Operations Manager EMEA

We are looking for a highly organised and analytical Sales Operations Manager for EMEA to join our rapidly growing Revenue team at Fastly. In this role you will be a meaningful part of our growth responsible for providing first-class operational management to our Sales organization across EMEA. You will help drive business plans, define sales process, analyze revenue trends & critical metrics among other special projects to enhance productivity. In addition, you will drive operational improvements in the areas of reporting, process, workflow, communication, and strategy.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with regional sales leadership across EMEA, and discover opportunities for sales process and methodology improvements while helping them run their business.
  • Work closely with the Director, Sales Operations, other operations team members and the business to further develop metrics and performance indicators, improve operational cadence and items like QBRs, and drive business performance through deep business insight.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to tackle complex and strategic operational business challenges. This includes driving requirements gathering, system testing, process engineering, training and documentation, and execution for the business.
  • Ensure that sales tools and systems (e.g. SFDC, Outreach, ZoomInfo) are organized, efficient and well-managed. Develop a high-level understanding of how these systems interconnect, and work with Business Systems to direct any needed improvements or fixes.
  • Optimize sales and operational efficiency through proactive and innovative thinking, process improvement and system enhancements and industry standards sharing.
  • Lead and manage various GTM initiatives, coordinating with stakeholders for efficient execution. Further develop account scoring, territory optimization and quota build models.
  • Provide front line support for other operational functions including deal desk, contracts, finance and business systems to provide support to the revenue organisation and for common business and day to day operational situations.

What We're Looking For: 

  • Idelaly 5+ years of strong analytical and problem-solving experience in a sales operations role, in a dynamic sales environment.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, data manipulation, dashboard creation, and business intelligence skills - with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable business insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectiveley across multiple teams.
  • Strong presentation skills, confident talking through data and analysis with key stakeholders across the business
  • Expertise in market strategy, territory planning, goal setting and sales forecasting.
  • Ability to drive and communicate objectives, design and execute projects, deliver easy to understand training and interact effectively across all levels of a large multinational organization.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality, and a proactive approach to your work, confidence to come up with new ideas and drive them forward.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to network and build strong relationships with peers, senior leaders and executives Across EMEA and the globe. 
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).

We’ll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these: 

  • Experience in a fast growing, medium-sized company a plus
  • Industry experience working for Cloud or Security business woud be beneficial, if not SAAS experience would be required

Work Hours:

  • This position will require you to be available during core business hours.

  • London, United Kingdom. 

Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.  

This position may require International travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.
