Join the Crunchyroll Accounting Team, a dynamic global organization of accounting professionals dedicated to supporting vital departments and ensuring adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. As we navigate a transformative phase, your role within the accounting team will contribute to our organizational goals for both immediate and long-term global growth.
Day in the life of our Sr Accountant- Generate journal entries for designated areas, including cash, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, leases, and P&L activities.
- Craft P&L financial statement variance analyses.
- Prepare Balance Sheet variance analyses.
- Investigate account variances on the Balance Sheet and P&L for management reporting.
- Compile monthly Balance Sheet and bank account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the AP team to address unposted/incorrect transactions.
- Engage with other divisions for intercompany confirmation and settlement.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and reporting for Financial Accounting management.
- Interface with multiple departments to discuss monthly revenue and expense analyses.
- Ensure the appropriate execution of accounting treatment on complex issues following US GAAP and IFRS.
- Participate in the evolution, implementation, and UAT of ERP improvements to enhance reporting and internal controls.
As a Senior Accountant, you will report to the Director of Accounting.
Location: We are considering applicants for the San Francisco and Los Angeles locations.
About You- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- NetSuite experience
- Working knowledge of GAAP.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and Google Sheets
- Experience using NetSuite or other enterprise software

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
