Why We Have This Role

Qualtrics is looking for an energetic and self-motivated individual to join our Finance team, supporting the EMEA region to be based in our Dublin office. The Sr. Accountant will work on performing timely month-end/quarterly/annual close process, variance analysis, financial reporting and statutory compliance across all of our EMEA entities. The right candidate will excel at delivering a superior customer experience and have a passion for accounting. Adaptability, maintaining standards, and a positive approach will be paramount.

  • You will have the chance work independently within the Accounting team across all standard processes and have the chance to build new process and improve existing ones.

 

Things You’ll Do

  • Assist the EMEA Financial Controller in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. Prepare journal entries, review general ledger accounts, and prepare reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Work closely with external auditors. Prepare schedules and financial statements for annual group and statutory audits.
  • Assist in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with best practices.
  • Automate accounting processes as well as other business processes.
  • Research accounting guidance and analyse how it affects the Company.
  • Assist in drafting statutory annual financial statements and related reports.
  • Ad hoc finance and accounting project work as required.

 

What We’re Looking For On Your CV

  • Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
  • ACA/ACCA, CPA qualified (or similar)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.  Masters degree is a plus.
  • High comfort level with accounting and ERP systems (prefer NetSuite)
  • High degree of organisation and efficiency with demonstrated attention to detail
  • One Team mindset, excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external business partners
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and meet deadlines
  • Analytical skills
  • Excellent IT skills, with highly developed excel capability
  • Comfortable in an environment of rapid change and growth
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP) and local statutory accounting in the EMEA region.
