To support our continued growth and build a best in class Global Compensation organization, we are looking for a Senior Sales Compensation Analyst to join our team! 

We will look to you to drive initiatives for improving commission processing cycles while maintaining and improving accuracy.  Above all, this role will care and ensure our global sales organization, its leaders, have a smooth running commissions process with white glove treatment, while meeting Elastic’s business needs as they change.

Your future responsibilities:
  • Sales Compensation program implementation each fiscal year by working closely with internal stakeholders (such as: Sales Operations, IT, Accounting and Internal Audit) to analyze plan design requirements and perform UAT testing for IT development work performed in Xactly ensuring full accuracy of Xactly system calculation. 
  • Build and design compensation reporting SOX infrastructure (excel audits and calculators) to obtain commission full accuracy and SOX compliance
  • Xactly system administration (statement creation, compensation plan template creation, population setup, credit loads, compensation plan release)
  • Perform monthly audits/reconciliation of credit and commissions for SOX compliance ensuring accuracy of payouts before submission to manager
  • Process monthly and quarterly manual revenue and commission adjustments submitted by stakeholders.
  • Cases queue management providing support and guidance to seller enquiries while collaborating with various functions across the organization in supporting case resolution.
  • Identify and drive process improvements by providing key inputs during process standardization during fiscal year
We would love to talk to you if you have many of the following:
  • Expert Level Proficiency with Excel and attention to detail (ability to content create complex commission audit files - very advanced excel skills required)
  • 4+ years of work experience in Sales Compensation / Operation / Analytics area (knowledge of sales compensation process, year-end and month close activities) 
  • 4+ years of work experience with Xactly commission software or similar commission application, plus a working experience with SalesForce, Workday, ServiceNow
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills (can easily explain complex information to global sales participants)
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills, a demonstrated professional experience in content creation, data analysis & reporting
  • Comfortable with fast pace environments and desire to own, re-build, improve upon existing processes
  • Team player who can partner well across various departments but also able to work independently
  • Highly collaborative style and the ability to adjust on the fly to new demands with a sense of urgency.
