To support our growth and enable us to scale, we are seeking an outstanding Senior Sales Ops Professional to support sales strategy, planning, reporting, and analysis. This is achieved by driving efficiencies, improving processes and providing weekly analytical insights on the results of the business.

This role will provide the analysis needed to support the continued growth in AMER. Working very closely with Marketing and Finance you will provide targets and recommendations that help align cross functional teams towards our company’s growth objectives while developing early warning indicators to track progress.

Responsibilities
  • Build and deliver regular reports with in-depth analysis of sales performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide actionable insights to sales leadership to optimize sales strategies and drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to develop accurate sales forecasts and operational plans.
  • Monitor and report on actual performance against forecasted targets.
  • Evaluate and refine sales processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Coordinate data integrity within the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
  • Analyze sales pipeline data to identify potential bottlenecks and areas for acceleration.
  • Recommend strategies to optimize the lead-to-customer conversion process.
  • Support territory carving and GTM resource planning to optimize our coverage model across top markets and our incentive comp strategy across all GTM roles.
  • Collaborate with marketing, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and consistency in sales-related processes.
  • Act as a liaison between sales and other teams to drive effective communication and teamwork.
Desired background
  • BS/BA required
  • 4-6+ years work experience in Sales, Sales Operations, Strategy, FP&A, Management Consulting, or similar field in SaaS organizations with strong exposure to go-to-market strategy.
  • Consistent track record to structure complex problems, develop solutions, and craft recommendations and results into easily digestible messages, communications, and executive presentations.
  • Analytical approach with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills.
  • Highly collaborative style and the that can adjust on the fly to new demands
  • Thorough with a focus on process improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience with the Salesforce.com platform
  • Proficiency with the MS Office suite or Google (especially MS Excel and/or gsheets)

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary.  This role does not have a variable compensation component.  

The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below.  In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below. 

These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.  

An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program.  Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.
