Senior Associate, Castlegate Forwarding Account Management

CGF Forwarding is a digital freight forwarding organization within Wayfair's broader CastleGate Logistics network. We offer a full suite of shipping services that aim to provide Wayfair suppliers with competitive and convenient logistics solutions. As part of the CGF Team, you will play a key role in growing and executing our strategic business lines. This is a highly visible and exciting role and one that will offer the right candidate an opportunity to support a core part of our strategic vision. As you pursue strong relationships with CGF suppliers, success will be demonstrated by increasing supplier satisfaction and growing the percentage of volume shipped by CastleGate Logistics for each supplier.
What You'll do:
- Provide outstanding customer service and build relationships with a portfolio of CGF Suppliers.
- Organically grow the portfolio to meet/exceed annual targets. Manage Customer performance to meet or exceed CGF SLA’s by leveraging existing tools (dashboards, scorecards) and data sets.
- Develop strong relationships with internal cross functional teams to improve processes and supplier experience. Resolve issues as they arise related to freight movement and ad-hoc transactions.
- Drive supplier performance improvement campaigns that focus on driving SLA compliance.
- Provide recommendations for customer pain points in need of improvement Run Customer monthly business review calls along with Key Account Managers, covering SLA compliance, MQC usage, outstanding issues and commercial opportunities.
- Analyze data and trends, build reports that support long term improvements.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor Degree and a minimum of 1 to 2 years in transportation customer service, account management and/or customer success, operations, logistics or a supply chain environment
- Experience in a highly cross functional environment strongly preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to craft and deliver clear narratives on work plans
- Demonstrated record of taking ownership and responsibility for driving successful results
- Ability to define scope and build out a clear work plan to investigate and solve ambiguous problems
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple cross-functional stakeholders with competing priorities
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once and the skills to prioritize ruthlessly
- Experience working with, analyzing, synthesizing, and presenting data with clarity and recommended actions
An Important Note about Wayfair's In-Office Policy:
All Boston-based interns, Co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday - Thursday, and work remotely Friday.
