About the Role

This new role offers a unique opportunity to determine the next big growth lever for Harry’s and Flamingo brands reaching new customers through innovation.

As a Senior Associate in our Upstream Innovation team, you will play a crucial role in the testing and iterative development of new direct-to-consumer products. Reporting to the Growth Lead, responsible for new product incubation, you will assist in managing the rapid testing and launch processes, utilizing direct response advertising to fine-tune product messaging and evaluate market response. Your contributions will be key in driving our strategy to discover and scale new growth areas, aiming to hit significant revenue targets. This role demands a proactive and analytical approach, with a focus on learning and adapting quickly in a fast-paced environment. What you will accomplish:

  • Work across insights and product teams to understand consumer sentiment and product benefits, and translate these into distinct creative ad campaign territories for testing
  • Quickly test and iterate on new creative campaigns to collect insights on new product offerings, and quickly evolve campaign messaging to test hypotheses from observed results
  • Build and deliver on a testing and learning plan, staying within budgets and timeline, and reporting on results and learnings for stakeholders throughout the process
  • Provide key input into GTM strategy for new products, particularly on the model for profitable customer growth for new product offerings
  • Independently perform daily ad optimizations while monitoring and reporting out on trends in key performance metrics
  • Develop a learning plan of testable hypotheses to improve efficiency of ad spend
  • Project manage creative development cycles with designers and copywriters to produce high-performing ads & landing page experiences
  • Conduct in-depth channel analyses, draw actionable insights from data, and share with the team
  • Compile industry research, competitive landscape information, information about new tools, and produce recommendations for how we can take advantage of these things 
  • Manage relationships with external partners as well as internal teams at Harry’s including Creative, Product, Cx, Brand, S&OP, Insights, Analytics, and others

  • Obsessed with understanding customer behavior and how product benefit messaging influences purchase decisions
  • Intensely data-driven in your approach to solving problems, with a persistent desire to analyze, understand, and take action
  • Highly self-motivated and self-directed in your work with a bias towards action and a willingness to take on tasks no matter how big or small
  • Comfortable working with a high degree of ambiguity, implementing structure and process as you go
  • Experience launching ad campaigns for new to market products, testing to understand what drives purchase with no prior testing history from which to learn
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, deeply understanding drivers of both scalability and profitability and able to design and test multiple approaches to growing customers for a new product
  • Skilled/experienced in Excel and comfortable manipulating raw datasets
  • Bonus: 2+ years of experience in B2C digital performance marketing managing Paid Social and/or Google Adwords campaigns at a digital media agency, startup, or ecommerce company
  • Ability to independently prioritize time, staying organized in a fast-paced work environment

  • Work closely with a best-in-class Acquisition Marketing, Digital Product, Brand and Creative

The Mammoth Brands working model is in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. That said, our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards package, which also includes a comprehensive set of benefits and our equity program. The base salary hiring range for this position is $90,800-$113,500, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate’s location, skill level and experience.
