The role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Brand & Marketing Communications to help scale our ambitious and fast growing new venture - Factor. You will be part of a small team and will play a leading role in building our brand through marketing communication (mostly copy creation, messaging, organic social, and PR). You will also be in charge of creating and adapting marketing, product, and customer care content for select Benelux and Nordics markets based on business plans, data-driven testing, and consumer research. 

Reporting into the Chief Marketing Officer and working under the guidance of our International Brand and Marketing Communication teams located in our Berlin headquarters, you will deliver all marketing communications  for the new venture across four markets. You will work closely with a dedicated launch team and alongside the International HelloFresh Group organization for operational, tech, and business support functions. 

What you’ll do
  • As a member of the newly former Factor Marketing Team, actively contribute to building our three strategic pillars: Brand Communication (PR, content including organic social), Product Marketing, and Brand Storytelling.
  • Structure messaging and develop communication plans for specific topics. This includes positioning, benefit, and sustainability messages that apply to all marketing channels – from advertising banners to organic social media posts. You will work very closely with our Berlin-based International Brand, Marketing Communication, and Content teams, which will provide guidance in these areas. 
  • Develop communication materials together with channel specialists across all communication channels including advertising copy, copy for CRM, print assets, and other consumer communication. 
  • Create, adapt, and localize a wide variety of consumer-facing and internal content, ensuring excellent copywriting across all touchpoints including website, app, marketing materials, box, and menus.
  • Responsible for managing the three copywriters responsible for local language localization
  • Work closely with the international expert teams to ensure  360° communication messaging and work on brand initiatives.
  • Plan and execute 360° brand campaigns across key brand channels (including organic social media, PR, and brand influencers)
  • Adopt an entrepreneurial and hand-ons mindset for a new team, following our “no task is too small” approach.
  • Manage our organic social media platforms, including developing the strategy, brainstorming and briefing content, posting content, and reporting on performance.
  • Oversee local consumer PR including the management of the appointed PR agency on a day-to-day basis, including briefing, setting objectives, reviewing PR outputs and working in partnership to develop plans and campaigns to engage media and generate outcomes.
  • Develop and execute Brand Partnership to drive category awareness and ultimately customer acquisition.
What you’ll bring
  • BS/MS from a top-tier university in the field of communications or a related field of study.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a communications  or PR manager role, ideally in the areas of food or tech.
  • Hands-on experience project-managing an initiative from start to finish, and the ability to deal with a large variety of international stakeholders. 
  • Achieve project goals while managing scope, time, quality, and risk. Learn from failures as well as successes.
  • Experience in and understand of copy development process for marketing purposes within a global organization 
  • Excellent English language skills. Knowledge of Swedish and/or Danish are pluses.
  • An ability to achieve goals while managing scope, time, quality, and risk.
  • A knack for adaptation and finding improvements in a professional environment with a constantly challenging status quo.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to understand and develop strategies.
  • Experience in structuring and writing comprehensive documents as well as writing for performance marketing assets.
  • Experience with workflow tools (such as Jira or Confluence) is a plus. 
  • Great communication skills paired with strong business acumen. Know how to manage and report into multiple stakeholders, even under time pressure.
  • Highly organized and structured in your approach to work.
