Senior Commercial Delivery Manager
Overview:
The Senior Commercial Delivery Manager will support both the Commercial Delivery function and the overall Commercial function ensuring that strategic and transformational initiatives are effectively planned, delivery is managed, and that key stakeholders are pulling in the same direction. This role takes the lead in communication and engagement on initiatives to the Commercial Leadership Group, the Commercial teams, and where applicable to the wider Trustpilot organization.
The Senior Commercial Delivery Manager is an exciting opportunity to get a “seat at the table” and is central to ensuring that the commercial function achieves its operational and strategic goals. The role will report directly to the Senior Director, Commercial Delivery.
What you’ll be doing:
Strategic Initiatives:
- Promote the day-to-day development and execution of strategic business initiatives in close collaboration with our most influential teams with executive-level visibility
- Be part of the change and execution engine for the Commercial function, ensuring innovations/developments are correctly implemented and have the desired business outcomes
- Maintain a holistic overview of all initiatives, ensure stakeholder engagement and that activities remain focussed on agreed business outcomes
- Monitor the business impacts of change initiatives, working closely with our Commercial Analytics teams
- Collaborate with Commercial Trusties especially Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to marry industry best practice with current ways of working to help surface and mitigate implementation challenges
- Have full end-to-end go to market responsibility (from inception to roll-out/embedding) leveraging key business stakeholders to bring initiatives to life
- Identify risks and opportunities in the business plan, proposing solutions where appropriate
- Ensure input and feedback from the Commercial organization are well-captured and integrated into the business plan, collaborating closely with other Trustpilot teams to do so
- Build positive relationships with global and regional teams based upon in depth knowledge of commercial best practices, SAAS products and global markets
- Projects and initiatives may include for example: commercial-wide transformation programmes, regional transformations, (new) business model evolutions, scoping and launching new lines of business, pricing and go-to-market strategy, sales organization, optimization, etc.
Operating rhythm and communication:
- Translate the business strategy and priorities into a clear narrative/story for Trusties, bringing them on the journey with the leadership group
- Ensure business impact and status of initiatives is tracked and communicated across the organization via multiple media (including slack, email, presentations, our intranet (Trustnet) and more)
- Propose agendas for key leadership meetings on relevant topics, including preparation and distribution of pre-reads relating to commercial transformation and delivery
Who you are:
- An effective communicator ; someone who is organized, detail oriented and thorough
- Advanced-level competencies across problem solving skills, results-oriented, appetite for business impact/execution, and influence the way things are done
- Highly analytical and quantitative skills - you should be comfortable with spreadsheets and other analytics tools
- Specific ability to model and visually represent complex concepts into presentation formats for Executive Leadership level to “All-hands” style communication platforms At least 5-7 years of work experience in driving outcomes where influence and consensus building is key
- A global business or a consulting background
- Great stakeholder management skills and able to thoughtfully and constructively influence the people you work with
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Self-motivation and ability to ensure success with limited guidance
- Be a real team mate
- International experience is a bonus
