About The Role

The Compensation Manager develops and manages compensation programs to attract, retain, and incentivize employees. Reporting to the Vice President, People Operations & Total Rewards, this expert will also design, implement and maintain scalable compensation policies and processes to meet our complex requirements. The role includes tasks such as conducting market research, benchmarking salaries, and developing compensation packages that align with our organizational objectives.

About You:

We get excited about candidates, like you, because...

  • You have 8+ years experience in designing and implementing compensation programs in high growth, quickly scaling global organizations
  • You have at least 4 years of hands-on experience, using and administering compensation planning tools, Workday Advanced Compensation module preferred. You are also highly proficient in using Microsoft Excel (can write advanced macros), Google Sheets, and Radford data for benchmarking
  • You develop and implement fair compensation strategies for the attraction and retention of top talent
  • You excel at collecting, organizing, analyzing and disseminating significant amounts of information
  • You have a track record for building and auditing data and compensation tasks, coupled with the ability to see the broader picture
  • You have experience enhancing and implementing compensation systems and reporting tools
  • You have a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • You have experience handling confidential and important information. You use integrity, and trust-building behaviors in all dealings. This is important and required in this role
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Finance, or other related field
A day in the life of our Compensation Manager:
  • You will partner with senior leaders to develop policies and programs that support our goals, and align with our business strategy
  • You will design and implement performance based pay plans that support our philosophies and goals, building guidelines and providing education to teams
  • You will be the source of truth, advocate and enforcer for all compensation questions, exceptions and escalations
  • You will conduct market research and use your previous experience in the industry to identify and implement great compensation package ranges that are both equitable and consistent with Crunchyroll’s compensation philosophy
  • You will administer compensation programs in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • You will partner with People Business Partners (PBPs), Learning & Development, Talent Brand, Talent Attraction, Payroll and Benefits, Finance and Accounting, and People Operations on compensation matters, and work on ad-hoc projects
  • You will collaborate with the PBPs and our Chief People Experience Officer (CPXO) on compensation planning cycles inclusive of communication, modeling, analysis and administration
  • You will work with the People team to support employee surveys, listening tours, and such to assess employee satisfaction with compensation
  • You will stay updated on the latest compensation trends and best practices
  • This role offers a hybrid work schedule in our Coppell, TX office
