As we enter this next phase of growth, we are in search of a Sr. DevOps Demo Engineer

The Sr. DevOps Engineer for the Sales Demo Environment will play crucial role in driving business impact by guaranteeing the stability, efficiency, and scalability of our demo environments. These environments are pivotal in showcasing our products and services, ultimately contributing to closing deals with potential customers. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance the infrastructure supporting these critical demonstrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Environment Management:

    • Maintain and manage the Sales Demo Environment, ensuring it is always available, up-to-date, and reflective of the latest product features and capabilities.
  • Infrastructure Configuration:

    • Configure and optimize the underlying infrastructure to support seamless operation and performance of the demo environment.
  • Deployment Automation:

    • Implement and maintain automated deployment pipelines to streamline the process of updating and deploying demo environments.
  • Monitoring and Alerts:

    • Establish monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address potential issues, ensuring uninterrupted availability of the demo environment.
  • Security and Compliance:

    • Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards within the demo environment to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Environment Scaling:

    • Assess and implement strategies for scaling the demo environment to accommodate increased usage or additional features.
  • Collaboration with Product & Development Teams:

    • Work closely with development teams to understand new features and ensure they are effectively integrated into the demo environment.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

    • Create comprehensive documentation for the setup, configuration, and maintenance of the Sales Demo Environment. Share knowledge with relevant stakeholders.
  • Performance Optimization:

    • Identify and implement optimizations to improve the performance and responsiveness of the demo environment.
  • Issue Resolution:

    • Provide timely support for any technical issues or challenges encountered within the demo environment.
  • What You'll Need:

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in tools for configuration management, deployment automation, and monitoring (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins, Prometheus).
    • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and troubleshooting.
    • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

    Nice to have

    • Proven experience in DevOps, system administration, or infrastructure management.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Experience working on-call and managing incidents 
    • Familiar with Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, BitBucket)
