Job Description

HelloFresh is seeking to hire a proactive, business-oriented, and tech-savvy advertising and marketing transaction attorney. This role will have primary responsibility for a variety of digital advertising, sponsorships, and media buying tractions. You will play an important role in supporting strategic advertising and marketing initiatives on the cutting-edge of technology.

You will ...

  • Lead and grow privacy legal function 
  • Draft, review and negotiate a wide spectrum of marketing, online advertising, mar-tech, SaaS, strategic partnerships and other service level agreements with advertisers, ad agencies, and ad tech platforms
  • Partner effectively with key stakeholders, providing strategic advice and ensuring that all interests of the business are appropriately represented in the applicable agreements.
  • Advise our brand and growth marketing teams on privacy and data protection matters. 
  • Partner closely with the Engineer, Product, and Marketing teams to assess potential data, privacy, and security risk and regulatory controls and governance for HelloFresh
  • Develop and scale Privacy-By-Design strategies and drive impact solutions
  • Develop and maintain effective policies, procedures, and documentation to demonstrate compliance and further develop integrated strategies across 

You are...

  • Well versed with both B2B and B2C aspects of the digital advertising ecosystem.
  • An effective communicator with excellent negotiating skills, keen analytical abilities, and a pragmatic approach to problem solving. 
  • Skilled at handling complex business transactions in a fast-paced, agile working environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build enduring partnerships with junior and senior in-house clients.
  • Entrepreneurial, resourceful and the type of person that thrives on change and new challenges.

    At a minimum, you have...

  • A J.D. with outstanding academic credentials.
  • At least 3+ years of experience working in house supporting a marketing team, e-commerce experience strongly preferred. 
  • Experience working in ad tech and digital marketing space  
  • Must be admitted, active and in good standing with the New York State Bar, Colorado State Bar or another state bar.

New York Pay Range$165,750—$255,000 USD
