We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Global Workplace Operations to lead and oversee the strategic planning, development, and management of workplace operations on a global scale. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, workplace strategy, and operational excellence, with a proven ability to drive efficiency, innovation, and collaboration across diverse locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Global Workplace Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive workplace strategy that aligns with the company's vision, values, and business objectives. This includes establishing and setting clear goals for the Food & Beverage program and the Global Culture & Connection program.
  • Oversee the management of facilities, services, and resources to ensure safe, efficient, and effective workplace environments.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of workplace operations professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, business units, and external partners.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace processes, technology, and sustainability practices.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to track operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support workplace design and construction projects, workplace technology solutions, and emergency preparedness planning.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to workplace operations and health and safety requirements.
  • Develop and manage the departmental budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and resource allocation.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in workplace operations, facilities management, and employee experience to drive innovation and excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, or a related field 
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in workplace operations, facilities management, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing global workplace operations in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve excellence.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement long-term plans and initiatives.
  • Knowledge of workplace technology solutions, sustainability practices, and industry trends.
  • Professional certifications in facilities management (e.g., CFM, FMP) are a plus.

Additional Information

  • Able to travel domestically and internationally approximately 25% of the time

Below is the annual On Target Compensation (OTE) range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual OTE, which is inclusive of base salary and incentive compensation, will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable) and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual OTE range for this position for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$184,000—$306,000 USD The OTE range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between:$229,000—$343,000 USD
