About the role

• Leads technical planning and execution efforts in the creation of customer experiences
• Partner with Product, Business, and Platform Engineering to ensure prioritization, timing and quality commitments while following the SDLC process
• Build and support Crunchyroll Video Supply chain platform
• Work with program management to ensure that all individual projects are supported and delivered
• Ensure software development process is deployed for all projects
• Establish all team development needs: training, resource management, reallocation of staff, and right sizing the team according to our needs,
• Empower teams through communication and awareness of project needs and business impacts
• Mentor engineers on your teams
• Manage vendor relationships

In the role of Senior Engineering Manager, Digital Asset Management you will report to the VP, Enterprise Engineering.

We are considering applicants for the location(s) of Coppell, Texas.

About You

• You are an experienced engineer with a track record delivering successful enterprise business applications
• You have 6+ years of experience leading teams of software engineers at a management level
• You are accomplished in building and productive engineering teams and can be a technical mentor to the team.
• You are a problem-solver who thrives in finding solutions to difficult technical challenges
• Experience building successful relationships across all levels of the organization and earning trust
• Shown understanding of business/development strategies, project management (agile), defining goals and critical metrics
• You have the ability to lead and deliver against several initiatives simultaneously and to prioritize effectively
• You have shown you can manage ambiguity and competing priorities while focused on short term and long term goals
• You are comfortable working with both internal and external stakeholders, and embrace a buy vs build philosophy
• You have experience building Digital Supply Chain solutions - inclusive of Media Asset Management systems and integration with other systems.
• You have a significant understanding of title and metadata management, workflow automation, and at least some understanding of rights and avails management
• You thrive in an environment with a growth-mindset environment with fluid priorities
