About the job

The Senior Enterprise Program Manager is needed to join the Strategic Services Team in our Professional Services Organization. You will partner with our Account Executives to manage our highest volume senders on Twilio. The person in this role is dynamic, passionate about customer success, and leads by example. Reporting to the Delivery Manager, Managed Services, this position is critical to the success of Twilio customers.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • BE AN OWNER: Gain deep knowledge of the customer’s business and email use cases to ensure their email program is successful. You are an email expert who acts as an extension of the customer’s team.
  • WEAR THE CUSTOMER'S SHOES: You are one step ahead of the customer, knowing what they need to think about next. You set our customer’s up for success by tracking industry trends relevant to email.
  • WRITE IT DOWN: Develop success plans for customers that outline critical factors for their email program including metrics for success, potential issues, and provide recommendations
  • NO SHENANIGANS: You work closely with the customer to problem solve when issues arise, escalating when necessary.. You know exactly who to go to for what and when. You can put together presentations for management on broad customer needs not being addressed.
  • DRAW THE OWL: You are a Twilio SendGrid expert and can strategize with our customers to make sure they are using the product in the best way possible.

Required:

  • 4+ years experience in a customer facing role of a highly technical product
  • 2+ years experience with email service providers, email marketing platforms and messaging platforms and communication platforms
  • 1+ years experience leading, consulting and building ISVs and enterprise level accounts
  • Customer obsessed in an ever changing technical landscape 
  • Highly organized and detail oriented. Knows the importance of providing custom documentation and delivering on quarterly initiatives 
  • Proven program manager leading activities with a technical product (Customer Success background highly encouraged) 
  • Technically competent and enjoy solving complex problems. They understand modern technology, are able to troubleshoot issues, and are resourceful. 
  • An execution machine. When you’re tasked with something, it is completed with the utmost thought and care. You feel a sense of accomplishment after seeing a project come to fruition and can’t wait to take on the next task with the same level of energy.
  • Advanced time management skills, ability to work well under pressure, and proficiency at developing workflows to increase troubleshooting efficiency while still following standard processes and procedures
  • Excellence in task prioritization and evaluation of situational urgency

This role will be remote and based in the U.S.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado: $92,000- $116,000.
  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
