Senior Finance Business Partner
As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be a key member of the Nordics Finance Team, reporting directly to the Associate Director of FP&A for Nordics & Benelux. This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role where you will serve as the primary finance partner for the Nordics production and operations leadership team. The role will primarily focus on core FP&A activities, including financial planning, analysis, and reporting, while also providing finance-driven support to the production management teams in Bjuv (Sweden) and Moss (Norway) through commercial and strategic financial analysis.
You'll be expected to build strong relationships, have a growth mindset to challenge the status quo, and embed yourself in operational details to deliver meaningful financial insights.
What You Will Do- Financial Planning & Reporting:
- Lead the planning and execution of quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes for the production units.
- Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly financial reports to senior stakeholders, including local Production and global finance leadership.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis on production-related financial results, articulating key insights and business drivers.
- Own, enhance, and build new financial models and reports to streamline processes and increase visibility of key metrics (e.g., labor costs, raw materials, operational overheads).
- Leverage data tables through SQL scripts to drive automation and process simplification.
- Commercial & Operational Analysis:
- Act as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders, including the Head of Production and Site Operations.
- Monitor and analyse manufacturing costs to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend efficiency strategies.
- Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to evaluate business cases and implement process improvements.
- Provide financial guidance on the implications of strategic decisions within the production and operations functions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with central FP&A and data teams to improve the accuracy of forecasting and reporting.
- Work closely with the broader Nordics finance team, providing support on financial reporting and month-end close processes.
- Take full ownership of assigned tasks and deliver them within agreed timeframes.
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A or commercial finance, with a strong focus on manufacturing, production, or logistics.
- A hands-on, proactive, and analytical professional with a strong initiative and growth mindset.
- Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders across multiple functions and locations.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of working with large datasets and deriving actionable insights.
- Diligent and detail-oriented, with a high level of attention to detail and a willingness to challenge numbers and validate outputs.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging business metrics to build financial models and reports.
- SQL skills are required.
- Proficiency with Google (Sheets, Slides, Docs) and Microsoft Office (Excel) products.
- Experience working in a subscription business is a plus.
