Title: FP&A Manager

Duration: 9 – 12 months (maternity cover contract role)

Start: Immediately

Job Role:

· To provide timely, insightful and accurate financial/management information and analysis to key stakeholders to enable decision-making.

· Production of and continued improvement to monthly reporting including CFO Packs, forecast and budgets.

· Oversee the monthly reporting processes with appropriate controls.

· Following implementation of new Certinia (Financial Force) system, develop and automate reporting (and process) to meet new business requirements.

· Assist in due diligences associated with transactional events.

Key Outputs

· Work with the Business Partner team and responsible for overseeing the output from the team to the business ensuring it is high quality and accuracy.

· Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts. 

· Provide critical insight into the drivers and levers underpinning financial performance.

· Review all financial budgets and forecasts regularly.

· Oversee the accuracy and integrity of reports produced by the team, reviewing appropriate financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies.

· Contributing to company financial strategy and decision-making process. 

· Undertaking insightful financial analysis and reporting.

Relationships

· The ability to influence and manage complex stakeholders and partnering relationships.

· Hybrid working 3 – 4 days in office.

Qualifications and Experience

· Professional Accountancy qualification preferably CIMA / GCMA

· 3 years PQ with experience in a FP&A function / role covering a full budgeting / forecasting cycle preferably in IT, Digital or Professional Services organisations

Skills and Knowledge

· Significant experience of finance business partnering with a wide group of stakeholders, able to influence and collaborate with others, provide challenge to ensure insightful and timely reporting and analysis.

· Experience of communicating and presenting complex information to internal and external stakeholders.

· Able to communicate complex accounting/financial concepts in an easily digestible form.

· Solid analytical and planning skills with ability to automate reporting processes and new reports to business needs.

· Attention to detail is essential, prepared to work on initiative and comfortable with ambiguity.
