The Channel Communications team at Airbnb is responsible for driving positive conversation and buzz about Airbnb via social media, influencers and more.

We’re seeking an experienced and versatile team contributor to support a communications team that is building visibility and advancing awareness for the unique benefits and proximity to culture that staying on Airbnb offers. The Senior Influencer Manager will help deliver stories and campaigns that keep Airbnb front of mind, helping to inspire discovery, increase consideration and build advocacy for the brand. This role will be responsible for developing and executing an ongoing social influencer program that supports overarching communications goals and campaigns across TikTok, Instagram, Twitter/ X and Threads.

A typical day:

  • Develop and execute an overarching social influencer strategy, working with cross functional stakeholders and partners to identify goals and influencer roles.
  • Identify and build relationships with social-first content creators and influencers.
  • Manage agency to encourage and enable authentic storytelling and high-quality content from a broad swath of influencers on an ongoing basis.
  • Research relevant influencer insights including target audience and users.
  • Assist with spotting trends, opportunities and conversation on social and identifying and executing newsjacking opportunities to drive positive conversation.
  • Monitor, track, manage and analyze influencer campaigns using Airbnb preferred tools and platforms (CreatorIQ, Sprinklr).
  • Consult on international influencer strategies to provide best practices and align with global strategies and campaigns.

Your expertise:

  • 7-9 years experience in influencer work
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Deep knowledge and expertise in building and executing influencer strategies across Instagram, TikTok and Twitter/ X
  • Proven body of work and direct 1:1 experience working with influencers, including passion-based and tech/ product for large-scale and bespoke brand collaborations
  • Strong influencer relationships
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills 
  • Experience working with and managing multiple stakeholders 
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A passion for pop culture and trends
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with social listening and influencer management tools i.e. Sprinklr, CreatorIQ

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.  

Pay Range$125,000—$155,000 USD
