**This role reports into our Boston HQ office Monday-Thursday (remote flexibility on Friday).**

As a Senior Internal Communications Associate, you’ll draft communications that drive awareness and engagement of our programs, business news, and offerings to our employees. You’ll work closely with partners across the organization, along with other members of the communications teams throughout the business to ensure alignment and message consistency. 

A successful candidate will excel in both quantitative and qualitative analysis, be a strong writer, detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be hyper-focused on measurement, inherently curious, self-driven and have a passion for corporate storytelling. The role will report into the Associate Director, Internal Communications at Wayfair’s Boston headquarters.

What You’ll Do:

  • Write and edit content for our internal communication channels (think: newsletters, intranet articles, digital signage, etc.)
  • Support the development and execution of internal communication campaigns
  • Develop and maintain editorial calendars
  • Track metrics and report out successes and lessons learned
  • Provide communication counsel to internal partners
  • Stay up to date on the latest employee communication trends
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to reinforce all Corporate Communications efforts 
  • Identify relevant initiatives, contribute ideas for internal storytelling 

What You’ll Need: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years’ experience in a Corporate Communications role; experience with HR or brand comms is a plus.  
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; familiarity with AP Style a plus 
  • Awareness of employee communication trends and/or current news and events
  • Ability to adapt writing for various communication channels, including video, email, Slack, digital signage
  • Experience with drafting and sending internal emails to large populations
  • Self-starter focused on delivering results - never satisfied with the status quo 
  • Critical thinker who is flexible and open to change and new information
  • Positive, people-oriented, and energetic attitude
  • Organized with keen attention to detail
  • Grasps new information, recognizes own strengths and weaknesses, pursues self-development and seeks feedback
  • Ability to tackle several projects simultaneously and work well within a dynamic, fast-paced organization
  • Experience with or interest in design plus (visuals, video, etc.)
