Position Description:

As a Sr. Learning & Development Manager at Okta, Inc., you will drive organizational capability through the delivery of learning and development solutions while leading your team of experienced program managers and facilitators. You will consult with internal partners and stakeholders on learning needs of their business area and develop and implement solutions that transfer knowledge, change behavior and enhance employee performance. This is an exciting opportunity to be a change agent across the organization. The successful candidate will have experience program managing, designing, facilitating, implementing and managing training programs. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and manage a high performing team of program managers and facilitators who are responsible for end to end ownership of learning programs and experiences and ensuring impactful delivery. 
• Design, plan, implement and facilitate self-directed, virtual, blended, and in-person learning experiences in partnership with key stakeholders and People Business Partners.
• Strategically oversee and provide feedback into the development and delivery processes for learning programs and experiences. 
• Communicate and influence across all levels of the organization.
• Work to connect learning curriculum to improved business outcomes.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business priorities and consult on best-in-class, scalable and modern learning solutions, including learning design and learning technology. 
• Bring best in class sustainable approaches to ensure high impact learning experiences leveraging multiple learning modalities - whether in person or virtual.
• Facilitation of our various professional, manager and leader development programs.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• 12+ years of learning and development experience, including facilitation, analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation.
• Experience building manager and leadership development capability. 
• Experience partnering with senior-level executives.
• Proven coaching, developing and people management skills.
• Strong program management, teamwork, execution and organizational skills.
• Solid and persuasive verbal, written and consulting communication skills, strong presentation skills and expert level facilitation skills. 
• Organized with a strong attention to detail.
• Passion for learning and leadership development.
• This person will need to be able to work out of the SF office for a couple of days each month (more, as needed).

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$158,000—$221,000 USD The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $175,000—$245,000 USD
