You are a considerate, bright, forward thinking, entrepreneurial candidate, with a passion for software and “legal tech” products. You are a person with strong communication, hands-on mentality and strong analytical skills. 

• Proactively shape the strategic direction of our “legal tech” roadmap
• Play a pivotal role within the dynamic and forward-thinking Product and Tech teams; from the initial stages of design and development, through launch and implementation of new products and services - globally
• Review customer journey and user flows, product feature guides, marketing materials, and other customer-facing communications to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and standards globally
• Provide front-line counseling to our commercial teams and drive the negotiations and contract closures for our global and US B2B SaaS business
• Build and maintain knowledge of critical global law developments and authority decisions.
• Externally promote and advocate for the integration of “legal tech” advancements, empowering professionals to transform the way they work and maximize their productivity
• Being the Legal representation of our company at public speaking opportunities, conferences, and workshops
• Partner with internal stakeholders across various functions globally, to proactively provide legal guidance and manage legal risks and requirements, with the balance of advancing our business goals and growth
• Develop scalable processes for Legal review of new products and services
• Plan, conduct and evaluate as a project lead and coordinator our existing (ISO 27001 and Tisax) and upcoming security and privacy certifications (HIPAA and SOC II)

• University degree in the United States of America of Law, Economics Law or comparable education with a strong connection to Technology Operations, Legal Tech, Product as well as Data Privacy and IT Security
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a comparable globally operating legal operations role and in the area of Legal Tech, SaaS, information security and data privacy
• In-house counsel experience required
• Experiences on HIPAA and SOC II as well as ISO27001 certifications 
• Solid understanding of complex SaaS and digital products, tracking/scanning services, consent management and on-prem technology solutions
• Comprehensive knowledge of global commercial, privacy and data security laws and regulations, especially of laws, legislations and authority decisions in the United States and the European Union
• Proven track record and strong public profile with an outgoing and social personality being comfortable with public speaking engagements, conferences, workshops
• Native English speaker (other languages such as German, Danish, and others are a big plus)
• Willingness to travel to our other hubs in Europe and/or to public speaking engagements
