As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will be responsible to own the end to end process of legal documentations for global commercial contracts, vendor agreements and implement strong operational processes.
What you’ll do:- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, with primary responsibility for non-disclosure, vendor, and marketing agreements and other commercial and technology transactions.
- Partner closely with CLO in supporting the contract lifecycle relating to Sibros core products.
- Responsible for maintaining the legal department’s contracts management platform and Legal Terms & Policies webpage.
- Develop playbooks, clause libraries, and other processes to improve and scale operational efficiency.
- Work closely with sales, engineering, operations, human resources and other business teams to provide advice and guidance on a variety of legal issues.
- Perform a full range of legal tasks and special projects as needed.
- 10+ years relevant commercial contracts experience, preferably in-house, with technology industry experience. SaaS a plus.
- Degree: LLB; LLM a plus.
- Significant experience negotiating, drafting and reviewing a broad range of commercial contracts.
- Ability to assess and balance business needs with legal risk tolerance to effectively achieve organizational strategic goals.
- Familiarity with a wide range of legal matters including data privacy, intellectual property, licensing, and regulatory and compliance issues.
- Deep experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities, meeting deadlines, and adapting to change within a dynamic company.
- Team player with a high level of professionalism and commitment to developing strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Experience with, and enthusiasm for, process improvement, and problem solving.
- Superior interpersonal and written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with Google and Microsoft Word platforms.
