Senior Legal Counsel, SMB Services- Temporary

We’re looking for a highly talented commercial lawyer to be part of our great global Legal team. The Legal Counsel provides legal and commercial support for Payoneer’s variety of engagements with its customers and business partners as well as providing support and legal counseling to the product, business and operational teams in their day to day activity. The position is based in Petach Tikva, Israel and will report to Senior Legal Counsel, Product & SMB Services.
* Temporary position for one yearWhat you’ll be spending your time on:
- Partner closely and serve as legal focal point for product and marketing teams.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, Joint Marketing Agreements, Affiliate Marketing Agreements, Referral Agreements, API License Agreements, Partnership Agreements, End User License Agreements, Trademark License Agreements, Professional Services Agreements.
- Review and advise on product / service offerings.
- Review and advise on marketing campaigns including reward based campaigns, PRs, and draft associated T&C or related documents.
- Support the continuous creation and improvement of standard form agreements and templates.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, business, operations, finance, tech and other teams within Payoneer to achieve execution.
- Stay up to date with applicable laws, regulations and industry guidance that impact Payoneer’s commercial agreements.
Have you done this kind of stuff?
- 5-6 years of meaningful relevant experience at global tech organizations or leading law firms.
- Law degree (LLB or JD) from a leading academic institution.
- Strong commercial/business orientation and outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Excellent English professional language skills including the ability to draft and negotiate contracts.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to effectively manage and prioritize a large number and variety of mission-critical projects and work quickly under deadlines.
