About the role

As the Senior Manager of Curation for LATAM, you will help shape our user experience across Spanish-speaking LATAM and Portuguese-speaking Brazil. Reporting to our Director of Curation, you will create strategies that resonate deeply with our diverse and passionate community. Your responsibilities will include managing daily curation tasks, while also providing strategic guidance, leveraging regional insights, and offering mentorship to enhance our efforts.You excel at analyzing data, generating innovative ideas, and creatively solving problems. Moreover, you have a track record in project management and have strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with marketing, business, and technical teams in the region
  • Collaborate with marketing, business, and technical teams in the region.
  • Partner with regional teams to create tailored curation strategies and build impactful campaigns.
  • Use data analytics to drive informed decisions and enhance user experience.
  • Apply editorial judgment based on experience with video content services and deep knowledge of anime and pop culture
  • Develop and implement scalable curation strategies aligned with global initiatives and regional targets.
  • Conduct A/B tests to refine strategies and improve publishing tools.
  • Analyze performance metrics and deliver insightful reports to partners and leadership.

About You

  • 8+ years of experience in content merchandising/curation within a video service or media and entertainment industry
  • You have expertise in video streaming models, content trends, and regional market dynamics.
  • You have strategic foresight regarding current and future content trends, with a thorough understanding of the regional streaming landscape.
  • You are proficient in visual language and content merchandising strategies.
  • You have extensive experience working with content publishing tools (CMS) and providing actionable feedback.
  • You collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, fostering unity in brand experience across markets.
  • You are experienced in data-driven decision-making, including A/B testing, personalization, content discovery, and agile project management.
  • You are fluent in Spanish and English (both verbal and written); proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese is a plus.
  • You are familiar with anime, pop culture, and/or current entertainment trends.
