The Senior Manager, Partner Enablement Opportunity

As the Senior Manager, Partner Enablement, you will lead a global team responsible for the development and execution of partner enablement strategies to ensure the success and effectiveness of the organization's partner ecosystem. You’ll manage a global team of enablement business partners, ensuring they are creating training programs, resources, and tools that empower partners to drive sales, deliver value to customers, and strengthen long-term relationships. In addition, you will have responsibility for ensuring Okta’s Sellers understand how to work with partners to generate more revenue.  

What you’ll be doing

  • Partner Training and Onboarding:
    • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for partners, covering product knowledge, sales techniques, and service delivery best practices.
    • Design onboarding materials to accelerate partner ramp-up and integration into the organization's ecosystem.
  • Okta Seller Training
    • Create strategic plan for enabling Okta Sellers on how to work with partners (AE and SE)
    • Ensure that there is a localized approach for Okta to work with Focus Partners.
    • Alliance Manager team enablement and support
  • Content and Resource Development:
    • Create and maintain a repository of partner-focused content, including sales collateral, training materials, and documentation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure partners have access to up-to-date resources that align with product developments and market trends.
  • Strategic Partner Support:
    • Work closely with key partners to understand their business goals and tailor enablement programs to meet their specific needs.
    • Provide ongoing support to partners, addressing inquiries, challenges, and ensuring a positive experience with the organization.
  • Performance Analytics:
    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for partner success and develop mechanisms to measure and analyze partner performance.
    • Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and optimize partner enablement programs.
  • Collaboration with Sales and Marketing:
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align partner enablement strategies with overall sales and marketing goals.
    • Ensure seamless communication and coordination between internal teams and partners.
  • Product and Technology Enablement:
    • Ensure partners are well-versed in the organization's products and technologies by providing training on new features, updates, and integrations.
    • Facilitate technical training sessions for partners to enhance their capabilities in delivering solutions to customers.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in partner enablement, alliance management, or a similar role.
  • Proven track record leading/managing a team
  • Strong understanding of partner ecosystems, channel strategies, and collaboration dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from performance data.
  • Familiarity with partner relationship management (PRM) platforms is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications in partner management or related fields are a plus.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$146,000—$220,000 USD The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $164,000—$246,000 USD
