Pure Storage is looking for a Senior Manager, Partner Sales to develop and manage the Partner relationships in Korea.
The role is responsible for the recruitment, development, and management of the business relationships with partners. The successful candidate will work in tandem with Country Sales Leader and Account Executives to successfully develop and service all partners and prospects within their respective geography/territory. They will also collaborate with the Channel and Field Marketing team on programs and events designed to promote Pure’s product and drive revenue to Pure through partners.
In this role you will:
- Strategic mindset with the ability to set direction, prioritize initiatives, and drive execution
- Manage, understand, support and be the main point of contact for existing partners.
- Aggressively Driving your partners to maximise sales and total partnership potential through partner-led pipeline contribution, sales best practices, training and support.
- Manage sales orders and provide status to partner, manager and sales teams.Communicate masterfully with partners on new product offerings and channel programs
- Experience coaching and developing partner-facing teams to elevate performance and capability
- Collaborate with marketing teams (both internal and external) to drive programs and events to extend the relationships to new prospects.
- Inspire and influence cross-functional teams and partner stakeholders to align around a shared vision and go-to-market strategy
- Builds trust-based relationships through transparency, active listening, and a bias for action
- Keep ahead of competition, raise competitive challenges and products.
- Engage in, attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows.
- Conduct contract negotiations & define and execute partner business plans.
- Conduct monthly/quarterly business performance reviews for distributors / PAM-Managed Partners.
- Drive and execute Channel Programs creating channel-led business contributions through deal registrations and partner-source opportunities.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM...
- Demonstrated experience developing the Channel ecosystem in Korea - strategic partner management is a plus
- Track record of creating inclusive team cultures that value diversity of thought and collaboration
- Collaborative person with a growth mindset. An ambitious attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to enthusiastically represent the company
- Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency
- Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and a strong sense of urgency in delivering results
- Desire to drive change and evangelise new technologies
- Passion for post-sales customer & partner success
- Knowledge of the storage industry specifically: Fibre Channel, NFS, and Enterprise Storage architectures
- Competitive attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to enthusiastically represent the company
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and leading through change with resilience and clarity
- Business fluent Korean and English language skills
