Title: Senior Manager, Produce Strategy
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our Produce Strategy team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a selection of categories through all parts of the supply chain across all of our US brands. You have key responsibilities over SKU ideation, vendor selection, price negotiations, and weekly budgetary planning for your set of categories.
You will …- Strategic Sourcing
- Develop and present an overarching category strategy that is comprehensive of capacity, quality, pricing, and customer offering
- Lead and execute sourcing activities or Request for Proposals for assigned categories
- Successfully negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best possible outcome for the company that drives value for both our supply chain and customers
- Manage all contracts and projects with suppliers, including all pre- and post-award contracting functions, inventory management strategy, and team coordination with internal stakeholders (ie: Ops, Legal, Finance, Product Validation etc.)
- Negotiate Master Services Agreements and liaise with the in-house counsel to ensure contracts are executed in a timely manner
- Build a robust supply chain to reduce the risk of disruption and, ultimately, reduce spend
- Budget Ownership
- Own the budget and financial management of your respective categories - This includes but not limited to: yearly budget, cost savings roadmap and financial waste metrics
- Collaboration and Communication
- Own tasks/responsibilities for Procurement throughout the supply chain with clear communication, documentation, and cross-functional team leadership
- Support the integration of Factor operations with our other verticals
- Collaborate with the Menu Planning team to approve weekly menus, set parameters for SKU usage, and influence overall menu architecture and product strategy
- Work cross functionally with interdepartmental stakeholders to develop new products (ie: Culinary, Product, Product Validation, Suppliers and Ingredient Excellence teams etc.)
- Take point on continuous improvement initiatives + stretch projects

- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university (Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Legal or similar)
- 5+ years of experience as a procurement/sourcing lead, with relevant experience in Food, Agriculture, or the CPG Industry
- Strong People Leadership skills with experience in leading and managing teams or relevant experience
- Knowledge of the strategic sourcing process/methodologies and an ability to read and interpret commercial contract language
- Flexibility to travel (up to 25%)
- Flexibility to work weekends when required (2-3 times per quarter)
- Fluent in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications
